What are your opening hours?

Our pizzeria at the Franciscan Well Bar, Cork is open 4-10pm Monday-Thursday, 3-10pm Friday, 1-10pm Sat-Sun.

Our mobile pizzeria in Caherdaniel, Kerry is closed and will reopen for the 2022 Summer season.

Can I book a table?

No, the Franciscan Well Bar are currently operating a walk-in only system, except for large groups. We do not manage bookings, so you'll need to contact the Franciscan Well Bar directly at franciscanwellbrewery@gmail.com  regarding any booking queries.

There is no table booking for our Kerry outlet.

Do you do takeaway?

Takeaway is available from both our Cork & Kerry outlets. Please follow the signage & physical distancing protocols when you arrive & while you wait.

Can I order in advance?

Advance ordering is not available for our Kerry outlet.

For takeaway from our pizzeria at the Franciscan Well Bar in Cork city, you can use the Click & Collect service on our website.

Do you do delivery?

Yes, we do local delivery in Cork city via Deliveroo - visit our menu on the Deliveroo platform to place your order.

We also do weekly nationwide delivery of chilled pizzas, which you can order through our website. Find out more here or go straight to our order page here.

Do you have vegan options?

Yes. At our Cork outlet, we make our own soy-based vegan mozzarella in-house, using a recipe developed by vegan caterers Healthy Made Delicious. You can request one of our vegetarian pizzas to be adapted as vegan by leaving out the cheese or swapping it for vegan cheese.

At our Kerry outlet, we don't have a vegan cheese option, but we are happy to accommodate your requirements by making a cheese-free pizza.

Do you have gluten-free pizza?

No. All our pizzas contain wheat. We cannot offer gluten-free pizza since we have only one wood-fired oven on-site - consequently cross-contamination of gluten-containing flour would be unavoidable. Please let us know your dietary requirements when pacing your order.

Where can I check allergens?

Allergens are listed on our downloadable menus. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions about allergens.

Do you do external catering?

We can facilitate virtual events by catering Chilled Pizzas or Pizza Kits. You can arrange for collection or delivery - even to a large number of individual addresses. Email us for enquiries or bookings.

Are you hiring?

We always welcome applications from experienced pizza chefs. Please email your CV to info@pompeiipizza.ie (preferably as a PDF attachment) so we can keep it on file for future vacancies.

Where are you located?

Our HQ is in Cork city centre, at the Franciscan Well Bar, 14B North Mall. We also have a pop-up seasonal pizzeria located at Wave Crest Caravan & Camping in Caherdaniel, Co. Kerry.

Personal Data Policy

The purpose of this personal data policy is to inform you about how we collect, use, store, and share your personal data, as a customer, employee, business partner, vendor, or supplier. We only use your personal data in the manner set out in this policy. Our use of your personal data is compliant with the General Personal Data Regulation, which came into effect in May 2018.

Types of Personal Data

We may collect your personal data including:

  • Name
  • Contact details such as phone number, email address, postal address, social media profile
  • Financial details which you provide as part of a secure transaction

If we require such data from you, we will make it clear at the time of collection of the data. You may choose not to provide such information. However, this may result in us not being able to transact with you.

Reasons for Collecting Personal Data

We use your data to provide our products and services to you, or to engage in transactions with you as a vendor, partner, or supplier.
We only collect and process your data as required for our legitimate business interests. We do not collect or process any more personal data than we require for our legitimate business interests.

Processing and Sharing

Where there is a legitimate reason to do so, we share your personal data with relevant third parties, such as payment processors. In addition, we may also share your personal data where we are required to do so by law. We maintain appropriate measures to protect your personal data from accidental, unauthorised, or unlawful loss, access, or use.
In accordance with the law, we retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for us to:

  • Provide our services or conduct our transactions
  • Comply with our legal obligations
  • Enforce our agreements or resolve any queries

Example of Personal Data Processing

An example of how we process personal data is where a customer chooses to pay by credit or debit card. We process the payment through a secure electronic payment processor. We retain receipts securely for a maximum period of 3 months, in case of queries about the transaction by the customer. This data is securely destroyed after 3 months.
While you visit our website, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of basket contents while you’re browsing our site.
When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Send you information about your account and order
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Set up your account for our store
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
  • Improve our store offerings
  • Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them

We accept payments through Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

Personal Data Rights

You have the following rights over any of your personal data that we may hold:

  • Information on what personal data we collect and for what purposes
  • Access to a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification of your personal data if it is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Restriction of our use of your personal data
  • Withdrawal of your consent to use your personal data
  • Deletion of your personal data
  • Objection to the processing of your personal data

These rights may be restricted in certain circumstances, subject to our legal obligations or in the case of legal queries or claims.
You can exercise your rights by contacting us at info@pompeiipizza.ie. We will respond to your request within one month, as required by law. We will not charge you for administering requests based on your legal entitlements.
